Joy Division Reimagine Music Videos For Unknown Pleasures
13 June 2019
Joy Division mark Unknown Pleasures 40th anniversary with reimagined music videos.
Joy Division are releasing a series of reimagined music videos to accompany the 10 tracks on their debut 1979 record Unknown Pleasures in celebration of its 40th anniversary. The series will see 10 directors create new visuals for the seminal post-punk record that has had such a huge impact on shaping the music that we listen to today and is a great sentiment to Joy Division’s iconic work.
The album art will feature an alternative white sleeve to resemble the original design idea for the album. The first video to be released is for ‘I Remember Nothing’, directed by Helgi & Hörður.
